Not, perhaps, the most enthralling item on your social calendar – but the PCC (Parocial Church Council) will be meeting on Tuesday next (23rd February). It will, of course, be a “remote” meeting, via the invaluable Zoom.
Don’t expect the fireworks which made that notorious Council meeting go viral!
The more notable items on the agenda include a discussion about how – and when – we can begin safely to re-open our church buildings. There seems to be a growing head of steam to have the churches open for Holy Week and Easter.
There will be a number of the usual “maintenance” matters – probably concerning all three church buildings – as well as the much bigger issue of the return of St Andrew’s into the life of the community around Kildwick and Farnhill.
